General

When you use my website, personal data is collected about you. This can take place as a result of you entering the data yourself – such as your email address. However, our system also collects data about you automatically, such as with regard to your visit to my website. This takes place regardless of the device or software with which you use our website.

Any entry of data by you on my website is voluntary; you will not be placed at any disadvantage if you do not disclose your data. Without certain data, however, it is not possible for us to provide services or conclude contracts. In each such instance, I will point out such mandatory data to you.

On this website, personal data of the user is only collected within the framework of the applicable data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The technical terms used in the text are explained in more detail in Art. 4 of the GDPR.

According to the GDPR, data processing is permitted in three cases in particular.

In accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a and 7 GDPR, if you have consented to the data processing by us; in each case, I will inform you in advance in this data protection declaration and on the basis of the consent in accordance with Art. 4 (11) GDPR exactly for what purpose and under which circumstances your data will be processed by me.

In accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, if the processing of your personal data is necessary for the initiation, conclusion or execution of a contractual relationship.

In accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, if, after a balancing of interests, the processing is necessary to protect my legitimate interest; this includes in particular my interests in analysing, optimising and securing the offer on my website – this includes in particular an analysis of user behaviour, the creation of profiles for advertising purposes and the storage of access data as well as the use of third party providers.

Inventory data

Inventory data is collected (e.g. name, address and e-mail address, any services used) to the extent that such is necessary for the establishment, content or amendment of a contractual relationship between me and the user.

Usage data

Furthermore, usage data is collected (e.g. visits to the website, interest in offers) in order to enable the user to make use of the services on this website.

Usage data is only merged if, and to the extent that, such is necessary for invoicing purposes. In all other cases, usage data will only be created in a pseudonymous form and only if you have not objected to this. You can send this objection at any time to the address given in the imprint or to the data controller named in this data protection declaration.

The legal basis for this data processing is, on the one hand, my legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR in analysing the website and your use thereof, and, if applicable, additionally the legal permission to store data as part of the initiation of a contractual relationship in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

My provider also stores information, the so-called server log files, which are automatically transmitted by your browser every time you use this website. This includes:

  • your IP address
  • browser type and version
  • host name
  • time of visit
  • the website you accessed our website from
  • name of the retrieved page
  • exact time of the retrieval and
  • the amount of data transferred.

This data is only used for statistical purposes and does not allow us to identify you as a user.

Google Analytics

In order to guarantee a technically flawless online offering and for the economically efficient design and optimisation of this website in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, the Google Analytics tool provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94.043 USA, is made use of. This allows the use of websites to be analysed, whereby pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the data.

Google uses various techniques to do this, including storing cookies on your computer. These store information about the use of this website, which is used to improve the offering.

The data collected by Google is transmitted by Google to states outside the EU, in particular to the USA. Google has committed itself to the Privacy Shield Framework; more information about your rights under this can be found at

https://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf.

Consent

Where you are asked for your consent to process your data, you will be informed in clear language and in an easily accessible way about the cases for which you are giving your consent. Any consent requested is voluntary, any benefit you wish to obtain by giving consent can be obtained without the consent.

You have the right to revoke any consent issued here for the processing of your personal data at any time. This applies to all forms of consent given. This can be effected by means of an informal message, e.g. via my contact form, an email to the email address given in the imprint or an unsubscribe link (if offered). Your revocation shall not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

Storage periods

As a matter of principle, your data will only be stored for as long as the purpose of the respective data processing requires. Further storage shall primarily be considered if such remains necessary in light of legal proceedings, for other legitimate interests or if I am required by law to retain your data (e.g. within the framework of tax retention periods, which are generally 6 or even 10 years).

Cookies

This website uses cookies within the framework of the legitimate interest in a technically flawless online offer and its economically efficient design and optimisation in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, whereby my website can be used in a better manner, more effectively and more securely. Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer and store certain data about your user behaviour on our website, whereby an offer corresponding to your previous usage can be provided. This can involve called “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit to our website. However, there are also cookies that are permanently stored on your computer, insofar as you do not delete them. These make it possible to recognise your browser the next time you visit our website and to make offers that correspond to your previous usage of our website.

Insofar as consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the relevant cookies shall be based exclusively on this consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR); consent can be revoked at any time.

If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analytical purposes, we will inform you separately within the scope of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request consent.

Your browser allows you to prevent the use of cookies in whole or in individual cases. Please refer to the user manual for your browser. The blocking of cookies may restrict the functionality of our website and other websites you visit.

Disclosure to third parties

Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless such disclosure is permitted by law.

A transfer of your data may either be necessary for the performance of a contract and thereby be permitted under Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR or permitted on the basis of my legitimate interest in offering effective service provision as per Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, be covered by a consent granted by you or become necessary if we are lawfully required by a state or authority to surrender your data under Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR.

Insofar as your data is passed on to third parties, this is stated in this data protection declaration.

Deletion, rectification, restriction

You can request the rectification (also by means of supplementation) of incorrect data at any time as well as the restriction of the processing of the same or the deletion of your data. This shall apply in particular if the purpose of the processing has lapsed, a required consent has been revoked and no other legal basis exists or our data processing is unlawful. Modification of the Data Protection Statement

Should any change to this data protection statement become necessary for legal or actual reasons, we shall update this page accordingly. No changes shall made to the consents given by the user as part of this process.

Encryption of data entry

If you enter data on this website, whether on a contact form, during registration, logging in or for payment purposes, the website on which you enter the data is encrypted. This means that third parties cannot read the data you enter. You can recognise the encryption by the lock symbol in your browser and by the fact that the address line starts with “https” instead of just “http”.

Contact form

If you fill out a contact form or send an e-mail or other electronic message, your details will be stored for the processing of the enquiry, possible follow-up questions or related further questions, and will only be used as part of the request.

Your data is entered in an encrypted form, which means that third parties cannot read your data when entering it.

The basis for this storage is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. A GDPR, which you give us by filling out the contact form or your other enquiry. You can revoke this consent at any time, for which an informal notification to us (e.g. by contact form or e-mail) shall be deemed sufficient. Your revocation shall not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.

Your data will remain stored for as long as it is required for processing the enquiry; in particular storage is still required for contractual fulfilment/processing, for legal proceedings by us or for our other legitimate interests, or of we are required by law to retain your data (e.g. within the framework of tax retention periods).
